The pyramids

The pyramids! Those awe-inspiring monuments to ancient ingenuity and engineering have captivated imaginations for millennia. When you say “Wonders of the world pyramids,” I assume you’re referring to the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, of which the Great Pyramid of Giza is the only one still standing.
The Great Pyramid of Giza:
Located on the Giza Plateau in Egypt, it was built as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khufu (Cheops) around 2560 BC.
Standing at 481 feet (146.5 meters) tall, it was the tallest structure in the world for over 3,800 years!
Constructed from over 2.3 million stone blocks, each weighing an average of 2.5 tons, the pyramid’s precise engineering and astronomical alignment continue to amaze archaeologists and engineers today.
The pyramid is part of a larger complex that includes two other pyramids, the Sphinx, and several smaller structures.
